Happy Valentine's Day

 

I'm just drawn to vintage doilies. So much so, I usually drop my current WIP to start one that's caught my eye. 

That's exactly what happened with this lovely! While documenting the contents of my vintage magazines, this great design stood out like it was calling me. 

This is "Heart's Desire" by Alice Gundel from Decorative Crochet Magazine #66, Nov 1998. I used Cebelia size 20 thread with a 1.00 mm hook. It measures 21" dia.
